Very interactive for kids
Excellent museum but a pity it doesn't have more about the Indigenous history and culture of the area. It's as if indigenous culture and history has been extirpated from the entire peninsula even though a cursory look at the literature reveals a vexed history of first contact.
All local museums are excellent repositories of area history. Hampered by lack of funding. The staff member here was very helpful, keen and well informed. Interesting exhibits included rare early Australian computer history. Who still remembers the Microbee?
Such an extensive collection of local records and history. Very engaging tour, and hands on as well.
Staff were friendly, lots of stuff to look at and kids are able to play with some items as well. Good to visit.
